Actress Brittany Murphy, 32, dies from cardiac arrest

Actress Brittany Murphy died on December 20 in Los Angeles at 10:04 a.m after going into full cardiac arrest, reports the New York Daily News. Her mother found her unconscious in the shower and called 911, after which paramedics arrived and tried to revive her with CPR en route to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, but were unsuccessful.
