Manny Pacquiao takes on US MTV, will appear on "Cribs," "America's Best Dance Crew"
"People's Champ" Manny Pacquiao will make his rounds on American MTV starting today, February 25, with a special appearance on Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC). Though the details of his participation in the show is still under wraps, the MTV website claims that Pacquiao's presence was enough to make the studio "roar with excitement."
ABDC is no stranger to Filipinos taking the stage. The JabbaWockeeZ, Super Cr3w, and Quest Crew, three groups with prominent Fil-Am members, won the coveted title and bagged the $100,000 cash prize for seasons 1, 2 and 3 respectively. Whether Pacquiao will bust a move on the dance floor is uncertain, but he was reportedly invited by his friend and ABDC host Mario Lopez to grace the show.
The seven-time world boxing champ will also appear in a future episode of MTV "Cribs". GMA News showed some behind-the-scenes footage from the episode where Pacquiao guides the MTV cameras through his Los Angeles mansion. No official airing date of the said episode has been announced, but GMA News reports that this would be the very first time a Filipino celebrity will be featured on the show.
