The Bellevue Manila

Hop your way to the Grand Ballrooms B and C of The Bellevue Manila for an afternoon of Easter fun games and activities on April 4. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 4, the Grand Ballroom of Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila transforms into Funtasia. Come as a pirate, a fairy, a mermaid, or any other character to win exciting prizes.

The Diamond Hotel

This Easter Sunday, celebrate with pirates at Diamond Hotel’s Easter Caribbean Adventure. Let your kids rule the high seas with lots of activities: face painting, glitter tattoo, egg painting, assorted games, fortune telling, magic show and bubble show. Watch for the surprise appearances of swashbuckling pirates and Davy Jones! There are also giveaways and treats for sale at the food stations.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 4, Sunday, EDSA Shangri-La will hold a circus-themed Easter with the Isla Ballroom turning into a giant carnival and food fair.

The Easter Egg Hunt will start at 1 p.m. at the Palawan Ballroom, where children can dress up in their favorite cartoon or fantasy character to win special prizes.


Tickets are at P950 net per person, including kiddie meals. Every ticket purchase entitles the guest to a raffle coupn for a chance to win a weekend stay for two at the Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa, with airfare courtesy of SEAIR.

Cinderella Kids and Osh Kosh B’Gosh present their latest collections. Aside from the Easter egg hunt, activities include a magic show, a story telling session, face painting, Timezone game machines and parlor games. Dive into outdoor pools from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Begin Easter Sunday with a Holy Mass at the Mahogany function room at 10:30 a.m. A fun-filled Easter egg hunt awaits children ages 12 and below at the Easter Wonderland at the Mandarin Ballroom from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Visit the kiddie salon and glitter tattoo station, and see a ventriloquist and magic show. Various prizes are up for grabs at fun children’s games.

Guests who avail of the grand Easter buffet at Paseo Uno, at P1,850+++ for adults and P925+++ for children, or the special Tin Hau holiday set menu at P1,388+++ for five to seven persons receive complimentary tickets to Mandarin Oriental’s Easter Wonderland.

Executive Pastry Chef Roberto Molleman also prepares an array of chocolate Easter creations on display at the Mandarin Deli. Chocolate rabbits, eggs and other holiday delights are available until April 4.

Chef Laudico Bistro Filipino

Chef Laudico Bistro Filipino serves a special Lent menu until April 4. For P1,000 per person, the menu includes a choice of soup or salad, three kinds of mango and mesclun, garden salad with your choice of dressing, and pakbet puree or adobo shitake mushroom soup. The menu also includes a seafood platter with the following choices: suahe shrimps sautéed in garlic, clams and mussels in ginger lemongrass broth, scallops topped with shrimp burro sauce, crispy soft shell crab in chili crab roe sauce or apahap in salt crust with three dipping sauces. For dessert, choose from Chocnut cups, halo-halo sherbet and Sans Rival Moderne.

Eastwood City’s Easter Wonderland

Eastwood City turns into a mini theme park on Easter Sunday. Eastwood Mall Open Park becomes home to two main attractions: Art Planet and Animal Ville which feature egg painting sessions with Master Fernando Sena, pony rides and a petting zoo.


The Food Factory is at the Eastwood Mall Atrium, where CCA’s cupcakes, Mrs. Q Cookies, Sandwich Guy, and Krispy Kreme give food preparation and cooking techniques, plus free food samplers. Right across is the Eastwood Central Plaza which houses three worlds: World of Inflatables, Game Warp and Science Emporium, featuring free games from Q Power Station and Timezone, and interactive exhibits.

Imagination comes to life at Toy Land located at Eastwood City Walk 2, with giant board games, popular characters and toy giveaways. Kids also get a chance to win Nintendo DS Lites, Sony PSPs, and iPod Shuffles from the Easter Wonderland raffle and special prizes at the Easter Wonderland Golden Eggs Hunt.

An Easter parade starting from the Art Planet starts the fair at 2:45 p.m. The parade features drum and bugle corps., costume contest participants, mascots, cosplayers, bikers from Flipbykes, and the players and advocates of the Homeless World Cup Philippine Team, who lead a ceremonial soccer kicking to signify their quest to kick off poverty. Bring kids in costume and they get a chance to win cool prizes at the costume contest.

Wonderland passports are at P500, inclusive of one-time access to booths and activities inside the fair for a kid and two adults. For additional adults, the entrance fee is P50 per person. Part of the proceeds goes to the Homeless World Cup Philippine Team who will compete in the Homeless World Cup in Brazil on September.

The Big Easter Egg Hunt at WhiteSpace

On April 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Whitespace transforms into a captivating Easter wonderland with a delightful Easter brunch by Cibo d’M, interactive storytelling musicale Stories from a Suitcase by Clowning Around, and two Amazing Easter Egg Hunts.

Kids take part in Egg-and-Spoon Races and vie for the Treasure Chest of Gold Chocolate Coins at the Egg Painting Competition. At Enchanted Kingdom’s Easter Playground, everyone can snuggle up with the lovable Wizard and Princess Victoria. More fascinating activities and photo opportunities await kids at Jollibee’s interactive Jollitown.


Daddies who wish to take it easy can cozy up with doughnuts and coffee at the Krispy Kreme Lounge, while mommies can shop at the Kiddie Bazaar Lane. There are also Mini Coopers to test drive. Even dog-lovers can enjoy chilling out with their pets at the Urban Doggies’ Spa and Lounge.
