Warring Showtime judges Tado and Vice Ganda kiss and make up
A word war developed between Showtime resident judge Vice Ganda and guest judge Tado Jimenez on Monday after the latter said that one group's performance was "pang-gay," reports ABS-CBNNews.com.
Vice Ganda took offense at Jimenez's comment, asking, "Ano naman ang masama sa pang-gay." The two comedians then went on to trade barbs.
In the wake of the incident, the two have kissed and made up, so to speak, reports PEP.ph. Vice Ganda issued an apology via his Facebook page: "Inaamin ko po nagkamali po kami at mayroon po kaming natutunan sa pagkakamaling ito. Let's all learn from this mistake. Peace, peace, peace, Tado, Tado, love, love."
PEP.ph took note that Jimenez was the first to issue an apology Monday night, through his radio show The Brewrats on U92 (92.3) FM, with Ramon Bautista at Angel Rivero as his co-hosts. When he was asked for his take on the matter by Bautista and Rivero, he said: "First, I, Tado Jimenez, would like to say very, very sorry and please accept my sincere apology. I apologize to everyone I caused offended for my T-shirt (on which this message was printed: 'Sabi ni Tado di bale na ang magnakaw kaysa mamakla.'). If you don't like my T-shirt, then, bakla, don't buy it, bakla. I'm just saying all of us is gay. I accept that me, I'm gay, too. But I'm not my direct intention to cause emotional harm to you, bakla. I'm just trying to be funny and enjoying life."
