Charice wants to become a lawyer, says reading law books relaxes her
International singing sensation Charice Pempengco, 18, told Reuters Television she wants to become a lawyer, reports ABS-CBNNews.com. "Being a famous or international singer--that’s my dream too, but my main goal is to be a real student and graduate, and be a lawyer and have my own business," she said.
The jetsetter star said some of her friends give her law books. "I love reading those," she revealed. "It’s like my relaxation."
According to an Inquirer.net article published in March, Charice is a freshman studying BA Communications at a Massachusetts-based online international university. "A lot of people think that just because I move a lot, I don’t study. The truth is, I’m in college," Charice, a scholar, told Inquirer.net. "Even if I have a hectic schedule, I still spend two hours a day in school. With my busy schedule, I can’t believe I was able to reach college."
