Filipino Bailey Munoz, 9, makes it to semi-finals of America’s Got Talent

Bailey Munoz, 9, who is Filipino, made it to the semi-finals of reality talent search show America’s Got Talent, reports TV Patrol World. Known as B-Boy Bailrok, he landed the slot with his Future Funk dance partner Miles Brown a.k.a. Baby Bugaloo, a five-year-old Oxnard-California native of Filipino, Spanish and African-American descent, according to AsianJournal.com.

According to AsianJournal.com, the duo appeared onstage "wearing tuxedos [and] ready to take on the grand pianos" but music from a large boom box prompted them to "b-boy" or break dance. Celebrity judge Howie Mendel told them, "You are the whole package, Future Funk."

Future Funk is now in the running to receive the $1-million-dollar cash prize and a headline show at the Caesar’s Palace and Resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

A resident of Las Vegas, Munoz is also part of the dance group Rock Steady Crew, reports AsianJournal.com. He and Brown met in 2009 and "immediately became friends," according to the official website of America’s Got Talent. They live five hours away from each other but their parents take turns driving them to each other’s houses once a week.
