There’s more to Swiss food than fondue. Head to the Paseo Uno for the Swiss Food festival starting July 30.

From July 30 to August 5, Paseo Uno at the Mandarin Oriental celebrates Swiss National Day with a food fete lasting the whole week.

Available at Paseo Uno’s regular buffet prices of P1,530 nett, for lunch; P1,600 nett for dinner; and P1,990 nett for Friday and Saturday’s Luxury Buffet, you won’t find it difficult to keep coming back to the buffet with the hearty spread of cheeses, cold cuts and native Swiss fare prepared by Chef Thomas Wenger.


A visiting Swiss folk trio, Adlerspitz Bueba, will also play lively folk music while diners feast on the buffet that includes a raclette station, with boiled potatoes, gherkins and silver onions; Quiches in assorted flavours such as Smoked Salmon, Cheese and Bacon and Onion; Fleischvoegel (beef roll with a savory filling); Stuffed pork belly in white wine sauce; Roesti (a Swiss potato dish); Baked ham in sourdough with delectable desserts such as Toblerone mousse, Aargauer carrot cake and Engadiner nut tarts.
