Police raided the house of Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao’s elder sister Isidra Pacquiao-Paglinawan on July 29, suspecting it was an outlet of the illegal numbers game "Last 2," reports ABS-CBNNews.com. They found about P30,000 and gambling paraphernalia, according to dzXL radio as reported by GMANews.tv. ABS-CBNNews.com reported that Paglinawan was not at her house in General Santos City during the raid, and 10 suspected operators were arrested.
Pacquiao told TV Patrol World, "Kung may kasalanan siya, eh di parusahan. Ganoon naman ako, walang pinipili." The pound-for-pound boxing champ said he has not yet talked to his sister.
According to The Philippine Star, the numbers game Last 2 is "based on the daily winning number combination of the online lottery draws of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office."
