Top security guard association head says Mikey Arroyo never consulted them, questions his right to represent them
The head of the Philippine Association of Detective and Protection Agency Operations Inc. (PADPAO) composed of about 2,000 security agencies and about 410,000 licensed watchmen, Ramon Bergado, told Inquirer.net that Rep. Mikey Arroyo of Ang Galing Pinoy (AGP) never consulted their group. "I have never met Mikey Arroyo in my entire life. I only see him on television," Bergado said. The party-list AGP supposedly represents tricycle drivers, security guards and farmers.
Bergado told Inquirer.net, "He has the right to run (as AGP nominee). I cannot question him on that. Whether he was the right person to represent the group, that’s another thing. Claiming is another thing."

According to Bergado, Padpao will not question AGP’s accreditation and will wait for the decision on the disqualification cases filed against the party-list group. GMANews.tv reported that on July 29, tricycle driver Danilo Antipasado filed a petition to disqualify Arroyo, the third one filed against him, and the AGP itself.
