Police hunt down sexy women used to lure car owners, three more members of Ivan Padilla gang
The police are hunting down certain sexy and pretty women allegedly tasked to lure victims of the Ivan Padilla carjacking gang by earning their trust, and then leading them to the carjackers. Superintendent Leo Francisco told Balitanghali. Francisco said many people in the showbiz industry know these women, aged 23 to 27, which could mean celebrities are the next targets of the group. According to the Balitanghali report, actor Derek Ramsay, whose mother’s Volvo was allegedly stolen by the Padilla gang, knows one of the unidentified women.
There are at least six members of the Padilla gang on the loose, according to the Balitanghali report. TV Patrol World also reported that the police are searching for three more alleged gang members--Ronald Duenas, Erwin Peredo and Anthony Padua. In the exclusive report, Lafayette Condominium Security Officer Aristotle Sabuon said Duenas, Peredo and another member Ryan Francisco were caught stealing cellphones, laptops and cash from six units in the condominium in April. They pointed to Padilla as the mastermind. They were released on bail but Francisco was arrested again in July after allegedly being involved in the carnapping of the vehicle of former Foreign Affairs Secretary Roberto Romulo.
Padilla was killed in a shootout on August 2, according to the police.
