Fil-Am accused of ejaculating into co-worker’s water bottle pleads not guilty
Filipino-American Michael Kevin Lallana, former field director of Northwestern Mutual Mortgage, pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against him for allegedly ejaculating into the water bottle of his female former co-worker, reports ABS-CBNNews.com. His arraignment was held September 15 (Philippine time) at the Santa Ana Central Justice Center in California.
KTLA report in August on the allegations against Michael Lallana
Police arrested Lallana, 31, in August for supposedly ejaculating into his former co-worker’s water bottle in January and in April. In both instances, the woman allegedly felt sick after drinking from her water bottle. The second time it happened, she sent the bottle to a laboratory for analysis and reported the incidents to the police. Law enforcers found that the semen in the water bottle matched Lallana’s DNA, which he voluntarily gave to the police during the investigation. Lallana was fired when his supervisor got wind of the allegations, according to The Los Angeles Times.
Six misdemeanor charges were filed against Lallana. By virtue of a restraining order, he is banned from coming within 100 yards of the complainant and her property. He declined to comment on the case during his arraignment, according to ABS-CBNNews.com. The complainant, who was also present at the hearing, refused to divulge her name to the public.
The complainant’s legal counsel, celebrity defense lawyer Gloria Allred, said, "(Although) the victim in this case is horrified, disgusted, and emotionally traumatized by what she was forced to suffer by the perpetrator of the crimes against her, she is willing to cooperate and be a witness in this case if it is necessary to do so."
Lallana’s pre-trial is on October 14 and his jury trial is on November 9. If convicted, he could be imprisoned for up to three years and be required to register as a sex offender.
