Robin Padilla comments on wedding with Mariel Rodriguez, says it will be featured in an ABS-CBN sitcom starring both of them
Actor-host Robin Padilla has released a statement on his and Mariel Rodriguez’ reported wedding ceremonies in Baguio City on September 13, according to PEP.ph. Not directly referring to the events as their wedding ceremonies, he said it was their love for each other that led to what happened in Baguio. He added that the ceremonies will be featured in an upcoming TV program for ABS-CBN. PEP.ph says the program he is referring to is a sitcom starring him and Rodriguez.
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Padilla said he remains faithful to Islam, despite getting married in an Igorot ceremony. The Muslim actor, who converted to Islam in 1996, said the Ibaloi ceremony is a part of Filipino culture and tradition.
