Cebu Pacific’s famous dancing flight attendants took their act to the Philippine Stock Exchange on October 26 before trading opened, reports PhilStar.com. As seen in a Youtube video, male and female flight attendants performed the "Safety Dance" routine to the tune of "Just Dance" and "California Gurls."
The shares of Cebu Pacific (Cebu Air Inc.) increased by 6.4 percent that day. It "made global history for a share offering worth at least $539 million, the biggest stock deal by a budget carrier," reports Inquirer.net. According to PhilStar.com, the airline "sold 186.6 million shares in its initial public offering at P125 ($2.90) each."
