Prince William and Kate Middleton to randomly invite 100 members of the public to royal wedding
Citing wedding insiders, OK! Magazine reports Prince William and Kate Middleton will invite 100 members of the public to their April 29 wedding at Westminster Abbey in London.
"William and Kate want the British people involved at a deeper level than simply holding street parties. They were crystal clear on this from the outset and were delighted when the idea of a random selection was mooted. Those lucky enough to land an invitation will only find out when it drops on their doormat," a source involved in the planning committee allegedly told OK!
According to the magazine, the 100 guests will also be invited to the reception, which will be held at the Buckingham Palace.
