New chocolate spot alert! Much to the chagrin of diet-watchers, a new chocolate temptation recently set up shop at Bonifacio High Street. Patchi,  a Lebanese import, opened its first chocolate boutique in Manila this month. The brand has taken pride in producing premium quality chocolates since it first opened in Beirut more than 30 years ago.

Patchi’s promise, so it seems, is to impress. Theirs is topnotch chocolate dressed in chocolate couture, that is, dress-to-impress packaging that makes you feel like these picture-perfect goodies were wrapped with royalty in mind. The swanky chocolate boutique sells individually wrapped chocolate, luxury chocolate gift sets, and edible chocolate arrangements that can be custom-made to fit the occasion, be it a bridal shower, wedding, baptism, or a "just ’cause" splurge for days when you feel like spoiling yourself rotten.

The chocolate boutique’s December 17 launch was graced by chocophiles Lucy Torres-Gomez, Kris Aquino, Gretchen Barretto, and Patchi’s local franchiser, Ben Chan. Other Patchi locations abroad include London, Paris, Dubai, Kula Lumpur, and Hong Kong, among others.

Prices are available upon request at the Patchi Boutique.
