Aficionado’s Joel Cruz denies he is wanted by the FBI
In a recent interview, Aficionado perfume’s Joel Cruz denied the allegation that he is wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for evading a case filed against him in the U.S. 15 years ago, PEP.ph reports.
"Puwede naman nating puntahan or i-check sa FBI kung ano ’yong kasong ’yon, kung mayro’n ba o wala. Puwede namang imbestigahan ng sinumang interesado kung gusto niya," he told PEP.ph. ("We can check with the FBI; anyone who wants to can investigate and see for himself or herself.")
A relative of Cruz told him that the supposed case was mentioned in a showbiz talk show, Cruz told PEP.ph. He brushed off the allegation and said such controversy is just a part of showbiz. Dubbed the "Lord of Scents," Cruz has the likes of Charice and Gary Valenciano endorsing Aficionado perfumes.
