Cebu Pacific gives 50 millionth passenger one-year unlimited travel pass
Cebu Pacific Air gave its 50 millionth passenger a one-year unlimited travel pass yesterday, reports GMANews.tv. President Noynoy Aquino and Cebu Pacific President and CEO Lance Gokongwei awarded the travel pass to Harold Toifi, an Austrian national, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in Manila. From Beijing in China, Toifi and his wife flew to the Philippines for a honeymoon in Palawan.
In a statement reported by GMANews.tv, Gokongwei said the budget airline aims to fly 50 million more passengers in the next four years. Cebu Pacific started operations in 1996 with flights to Manila, Cebu and Iloilo, and later offered flights to international destinations.
