"Golden voice" Youtube star arrested after alleged altercation with daughter

Celeb TV video

Police arrested Ted Williams, the "homeless man with a golden voice" who recently became a Youtube star, after a supposed altercation with his daughter, reports the AFP. According to Celeb TV, the baritone allegedly used his "outside voice" and was apprehended at the Renaissance Hotel in Los Angeles on Monday. No charges were pressed, and Williams and his daughter were released after approximately an hour, reports the AFP.

Williams, 53, became an Internet sensation after a video of him showing off his vocal chops went viral last week. Since then, he has been named the official voice of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, offered a two-year job with the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA club, and appeared on several TV shows.

He was addicted to cocaine and was arrested for robbery, theft, escape, forgery and drug possession, according to the Daily Mail. "But I’m two years clean and I’m trying hard to get (my life) back," Williams said.
