( More than 10 years ago, Kish was merely a 45-square meter store selling chic home decor in a busy Makati mall. Fast forward to 2011, Kish, now a locally-renowned  and sought-after brand in home design and décor, has opened their new store on Nicanor Garcia Street (formerly Reposo) near Bel Air-a stone's throw away from the old store in LRI Design Plaza. "People didn't know where we were," Ito Kish, the store's owner, said. And that's what prompted him to grab the opportunity of opening a bigger and more visible space.

The huge (it's 452-square meters), and now the only, Kish store in Manila houses merchandise from home accessories to furniture. Cleverly divided into different sections, the space's various areas show modern, classic European, and Asian collections all carefully curated and displayed in Kish's signature style-a fresh and edgy aesthetic that defies design sensibilities yet remains visually appealing. You'll find unique and interesting pieces all over the store, like a 1920's Maranao boat from Mindanao, modern Scandinavian home accessories from Europe, antiques from local provinces, and many other beautiful pieces. Kish is also the exclusive seller of Vito Selma pieces in Manila.

The new Kish is now also a one-stop shop for design needs, offering services such as visual merchandising, online gift registry, and Design for Life, a unique and very affordable service that helps clients choose the right furniture, colors, and style for their brand new home. Come May, Kish will launch a 15-piece in-house designed collection that's definitely something to watch for.
