(SPOT.ph) Actor Baron Geisler, whom the Professional Artists Managers Inc. banned in January from working with their artists until he is "fully rehabilitated" after receiving a complaint from actress Cherry Pie Picache, shared his life in rehab with TV Patrol World in an episode aired on Monday.
Now two months in rehab, Geisler said he spends his days cooking, cleaning, exercising, reading the Bible and joining group sessions. "Cooking for 15 men, it’s really hard," he told TV Patrol World.
He said he does not regret entering rehab because it is there that he is able to mull over his attitude whenever he was intoxicated. "Nagiging unmanageable tapos wala akong sinusunod na batas. Nagiging bastos ako, nagiging mayabang. Basta akala ko, ’pag malakas ka uminom, malakas ka manigarilyo, ’yan ang tunay na lalake."
("I became unmanageable with no regard for the law. I became rude and arrogant. I used to think that real men smoke and drink excessively.")
Geisler added, "Sa ngayon, iniwan ko muna ’yong Baron Geisler na artista dahil kailangan kong ayusin dito is Baron the person (I’ve left behind ’Baron the celebrity’ and I’m focusing on fixing ’Baron the person’)."
He told TV Patrol World, "I already feel like a victor but in order to become successful in life, (I have to make it in) the outside world... I’ve surrendered everything to God. God granted me the courage to accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change things I can, accepting hardship as the pathway to peace."
