NAIA to have clean toilets within two to three months
(SPOT.ph) Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) officials have promised to provide running water, toilet paper and soap in its Terminal 1 toilets within two to three months, reports Inquirer.net. Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Jose Angel Honrado said the agency is renovating the toilets in the three NAIA terminals.
The news comes after NAIA, particularly Terminal 1, was voted the worst airport in Asia and the fifth worst in the world last year by online readers of travel site The Guide to Sleeping in Airports.
Honrado said the MIAA has finished renovating seven to eight sets of male and female restrooms out of the 17 in Terminal 1. On the other hand, he said restrooms in Terminal 2 and 3 did not need to be fixed. Honrado added that he respects the opinion of the online readers of The Guide to Sleeping in Airports, but he asked them to revisit Terminal 1 to see the improvements.
