(SPOT.ph) Willing Willie has yet to return on air after a two-week hiatus following its controversial episode where a six-year-old boy cried while gyrating, reports PEP.ph. Willing Willie was supposed to resume airing after Holy Week.
The show’s business unit head, Jay Montelibano, told PEP.ph in a text message yesterday, "We’re also awaiting (advice) from TV5 following their talks (with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board). We’ll let you know once we get word but for sure not this week."
Citing an insider quoted in Abante, PEP.ph reports that Willing Willie might be back on air a day before Mother’s Day or it might no longer return on air at all. Host Willie Revillame earlier announced the hiatus on April 8 and said that he will use the time to decide if he will still return to the entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, Revillame’s co-host Shalani Soledad told PEP.ph on Sunday that they have made changes in the show. According to Soledad, they are reformatting 50 percent of the games and that they now have an LED screen flooring.Â
