Justice Secretary Leila de Lima says No. 1 ranking in Pulse Asia survey is "very humbling"
(SPOT.ph) Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said yesterday that being ranked No. 1 among all the Cabinet members in a Pulse Asia survey is "very humbling," reports ABS-CBN News. She received a 61 percent approval rating in the survey conducted from February 24 to March 6, one percentage point higher than her rating in October 2010.
"It’s very humbling, actually, but I take it as a further challenge for more hard work," de Lima said. "If you have (a) high approval rating that means the public (expects much) from you and the institution. So we need to work harder."
De Lima edged out the No. 1 Cabinet member in the last Pulse Asia survey, Social Welfare Secretary Corazon Soliman who got a 59 percent approval rating in the recent survey. Following de Lima and Soliman are presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda and Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Cayetano Paderanga Jr. who both had a 43 approval percent rating.
