Royal newlyweds postpone honeymoon abroad
(SPOT.ph) Prince William and Kate Middleton, now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have opted to postpone their honeymoon abroad, reports the AFP. According to a statement from St. James’s Palace, the couple’s overseas honeymoon "will not be disclosed in advance."
Following the royal wedding on Friday, the couple spent their first weekend as newlyweds in a secret location, reports the BBC. Prince William will return to work as a Royal Air Force helicopter pilot on Tuesday.
Africa is said to be the frontrunner in the speculation for the couple’s secret honeymoon destination because Prince William proposed to Middleton in Kenya last year. Other sites also tagged include Jordan, a secluded Caribbean island, and Lizard Island off the coast of Australia. The couple has "asked that their privacy be respected... during their honeymoon," according to the Prince’s office.
