Hayden Kho asks for prenup with Vicki Belo
(SPOT.ph) To prove the authenticity of his love for his fiancée, doctor-turned-perfumer Hayden Kho has requested a prenuptial agreement between him and his soon-to-be-wife Dr. Vicki Belo, reports Manila Bulletin. The happy couple revealed this information on TV Patrol’s July 6 episode.
"Ang sabi ko lang kay Vicks is, 'Alam mo Vicks, ang sa'yo, sa'yo, ang akin, sa atin (I told Vicks that what's hers is hers and what's mine is ours). And she was so happy!" said Kho. The couple, however, has not divulged details of their wedding plans yet, including the wedding date.
Apart from wedding preparations, Kho also said that he needed to improve his relationship with his fiancée’s family. While he has received the approval of Belo’s mother, he still has to fix ties with Belo's children, Quark and Cristalle Henares, who have both been vocal about their disapproval of the relationship.
Belo said she understands that both her children are just worried because of Kho’s track record. The beauty mogul admitted that she even apologized to Cristalle. "I told Cristalle, 'Darling I'm so sorry that my happiness is causing you so much unhappiness. I'm really sad," she said.
Quark, on the other hand, has been more straightforward with his sentiments, even revealing in a previous interview that he "will really have to kill (Kho)" if he hurts his mom again. On Twitter, Quark also said: "alas, I love my mom more than anyone else in the world. So it doesn't really matter if I like u. If you hurt her again, there will be blood." Kho tweeted back: " it’s ok, quark. I understand. You have my word that nothing like that (what happened) will ever happen again... and if it happens again, you have my permission to mow me down."
Vicki also revealed in the TV Patrol interview that she has forgiven Kho for his previous indiscretions. "Sabi ko nga sa kanya, 'Hayden you know, if I had to go through all of that, para lang maging ganito ka na, medyo worth it na rin di ba?' (I told him, 'Hayden, you know, if I had to go through all of that, just for you to become what you are now, it's sort of worth it)," she gushed.
