(SPOT.ph) Hordes of fans greeted  SPOT.ph satirist Lourd de Veyra at the signing of his blog-turned-book The Best of "This Is A Crazy Planets" at National Book Store in Trinoma on Saturday, August 20. Lourd loyalistas braved long lines and patiently waited their turn to meet "Da Man" who spawned much talked-about musings like "Ang Tunay na Lalaki Walang Abs" and "Umasal Lamang ng Ayon sa Ganda" on his hit SPOT.ph blog .

A crowd of 400-plus showed up to hear de Veyra read excerpts from the book-in his signature monologue voice, of course. "Tinalo ng sobrang habang pila mo ang pila sa NFA!" tweeted a fan to de Veyra. By the end of the three-hour signing, National Book Store had run out of copies.

The Best of "This Is A Crazy Planets" is a compilation of 30 of Lourd’s best blog entries on SPOT.ph plus some never-before-published pieces.  If you missed the Trinoma Mall book signing, catch the author at Fully Booked in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig on September 10, Saturday, 3-6 p.m. for the second leg of his The Best of "This Is A Crazy Planets" book signing.

The Best of This Is A Crazy Planets is now available at National Book Store (The Podium, Galleria, Rockwell, Market! Market!, Robinsons Forum and Ortigas) and Fully Booked (Serendra, Rockwell and Shangri-La) at P195.
