GMA News Online, citing  Radyo Mo Nationwide (RMN), reports that "Lolong," the 21-foot-long saltwater crocodile captured in Agusan del Sur last September 3, has finally regained its appetite. The "monster crocodile," who’s now being dubbed as a "celebrity crocodile," consumed seven kilos of pork on Monday night.

Lolong, who is now being held at the nature park in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, still hasn’t been validated by the Guinness World Records. Representatives of the Guinness World Records had previously said that they would only measure the crocodile when he was in a state of "acceptable captivity."

Meanwhile, Bunawan Mayor Edwin Elorde also said that he had communicated with Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau (PAWB) Director Mundita Lim. The mayor said that Lim had told him that there is no such plan to transfer "Lolong" to Quezon City.
