"Sometimes When We Touch" songwriter Dan Hill gives Pacman’s singing a great review.

PEP reports that"Sometimes When We Touch" singer-songwriter Dan Hill, in a phone interview, believes that boxer-lawmaker Manny Pacqquiao "has the personality to be an effective pop singer."

In their exclusive report, PEP quoted Hill, who said, "I think Manny’s a really, really good singer. I think he has a really, really good musical ear. As you know, he’s not a professional singer. I think pop singing is all about personality. You have to believe what the singer’s saying. You believe his emotion to be true. Or, are they honest? With Manny, I believe everything’s the same and for me he’s a very effective singer."

Grammy winner Hill, 57, released his 14th album, Intimate Dan Hill: The Platinum Collection, which includes songs that Hill wrote for other artists such as "I Do (Cherish You)" (popularized by 98 Degrees) and "I Promise You (With Everything I Am)" (popularized by The Backstreet Boys).

PEP, citing an ABS-CBNNews.com article posted last June, also reported that Hill’s duet with Pacquiao made it to the 19th spot of the Billboard Adult Contemporary Top 20 list. PEP also added that USA Today reported last August that Pacquiao’s solo take of Hill’s iconic ’70s ballad made it to the seventh spot of the Secondary Adult Contemporary Chart.
