ABS-CBNNews.com reports that after his controversial majority decision victory over Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez, Pinoy boxing champ Manny Pacquiao is apologizing to disappointed boxing fans and pundits.

Pacquiao said, "I know fans expected a lot. But we have to accept the fact that Marquez is a good boxer also. He's a good counterpuncher. Mamaya baka madisgrasya tayo. (I can’t just charge at him. I might get slammed.) He's a good counterpuncher. Atras nang atras siya. (He kept backing away.) He was even more defensive this time around. Hinihintay lang niya ako pumasok (He was just waiting for me to make my move)."

Pacquiao also revealed that he suffered cramps on his feet starting in the fourth round. Nevertheless, he kept his chin up and added, "Thank you sa suporta. This one’s for all of us. I brought honor to the country. I hope you’re all proud of me and pardon me for not meeting your expectations. But, at least, we have to thank God for giving us the honor of winning)."
