Praybeyt Benjamin is now PH’s highest grossing film; rakes in P320 million in 20 days

ABS-CBNNews.com, citing Star Cinema’s data, reports that Praybeyt Benjamin grossed nearly P320 million (approximately $7.39 million) in ticket sales after just 20 days. That means, the movie with comedian Vice Ganda in the title role is the "highest grossing Filipino movie of all time."

The record previously belonged to another Star Cinema flick, No Other Woman, which starred Cristine Reyes, Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay. The movie earned almost P276 million during its entire run.
