GMA News Online reports that a 30-year-old Filipino named Cai Guangming has been sentenced to five years in prison after being found guilty of organizing "large-scale" pornographic photo shoots in Shanghai, China. The Shanghai First Intermediate People's Court gave its verdict on November 10.

GMA News Online cited the news site China Hush, which had revealed that "Guangming-together with three others-had organized ’human body’ photo shoots for models from February to November 2009." Around 1,300 pornographic photographs were taken. Guangming’s group also reportedly staged about 40 "obscene performances" in various hotels in Shanghai.

One of Guangming’s victims was Yan Fengjiao, who has been a contestant in a dating show on local television. After the compromising photos were leaked on the Internet last year, Fengjiao revealed that she had been "threatened with violence and forced to pose."

Guangming, who was arrested in April, has also been slapped with a deportation order and a fine amounting to 20,000-yuan ($3,154 or P136,689.25).

The report did not say if Guangming would only be deported after he has served five years in prison.
