Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s fingerprints, mugshots taken by police in her hospital room

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that former president Gloria Arroyo had her fingerprints and mugshots taken at St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig City on Saturday, November 19, after being arrested on electoral sabotage charges.

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that former president Gloria Arroyo had her fingerprints and mugshots taken at St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig City on Saturday, November 19,  after being arrested on electoral sabotage charges. The Commission on Elections (Comelec) had filed electoral sabotage charges at the Pasay City Regional Trial Court against Arroyo for the alleged massive cheating in the Maguindanao polls in 2007.

 

Arroyo, who was wearing a neck brace, went through booking procedures inside her hospital room at around 3:30 p.m. According to the report, former First Gentleman Jose Miguel "Mike" Arroyo, several family members, and friends of the family witnessed the booking procedure, which was facilitated by Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit Senior Superintendent Joel Coronel.

 

Coronel said that Arroyo was seated in an upright position and was wearing a hospital gown when she was booked." Arroyo’s documents were sent to Camp Crame in Quezon City for processing.

 

 

Aside from Arroyo, former Maguindanao Gov. Andal Ampatuan Sr. and former election supervisor Lintang Bedol were also charged with the non-bailable offense.
