BBDO Guerrero snags contract for PH tourism ad campaign

The ad agency bested seven other companies. Dentsu Philippines Inc., J. Romero & Associates Inc., Lowe Inc., DDB Philippines Inc., WPP/J. Walter Thompson, Young & Rubicam Philippines Inc., and ASPAC Advertising Inc. had also made a bid for the Department of Tourism (DOT) campaign.

 

According to the report, BBDO Guerrero and the government "will delay the launch as the country deals with the effects of Tropical Storm Sendong." DOT Secretary Ramon Jimenez explained via a text message to ABS-CBNNews.com: "Theme reveal will have to wait for a more opportune time in early January."
