UP Manila takes back earlier announcement, decides to suspend classes due to Feast of Black Nazarene "terror threat," major road closures

The University of the Philippines - Manila (UP Manila), citing terror threats and major road closures due to the Feast of the Black Nazarene, has decided to suspend classes on Monday, January 9.

The University of the Philippines - Manila (UP Manila), citing terror threats and major road closures due to the Feast of the Black Nazarene, has decided to suspend classes on Monday, January 9.

 

UP Manila had announced on January Saturday, 7 via its official Twitter page (@UPManilaOnline) that there would be no suspension of classes.

 

 

However, a little after midnight on January 9, UP Manila tweeted that classes would be suspended.
