Kris Aquino confirms her marriage to James Yap is now officially annulled

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that actress-TV host Kris Aquino announced via her official Twitter account on Friday, February 3, that her marriage to James Yap, father of her youngest son James Yap Jr. or Bimby, has been annulled by the court. She tweeted: "Going to HK Disney w/ josh & bimby. Need this weekend to just be the 5 of us (me, my 2 sons & yaya A & Gerbel). Yes I’m annulled & can only wish for james & me lasting happiness & genuine friendship for Bimby’s sake."

The 39-year-old Aquino, who is 11 years older than Yap, married the professional basketball player on July 10, 2005. On June 27, 2010, Aquino admitted that their marriage was over. Aquino then filed the petition before the Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) to nullify her marriage to Yap on August 9, 2010.
