"Sexy Statistics" cites places where singles abound in PH

It doesn’t promise to help people find love, but it identifies the locations where there are many single men and women.

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that just in time for Valentine’s Day, the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) released its "Sexy Statistics" to "show which parts of the country have the highest ratio of single males to single females, and vice versa."

Based on figures sourced from the National Statistics Office’s (NSO) 2007 census, the NSCB’s "Sexy Statistics" highlighted the following factoids:

• For twentysomething males, Metro Manila is a great place to find a female partner their age and older (20 to 49 years old), while Regions I and VII are ideal if they want older women (50 to 59 years old and 60 years old and above, respectively).

• Males in their 30s will most probably find a female partner their age or younger (39 years old and below) in ARMM.

• For twentysomething women, Metro Manila is also a great place to find male partners aged 20 to 49 years old. Meanwhile, older partners (30 years old and above) are aplenty in Region VIII. Competition may be tough in Metro Manila and ARMM.
