P-Noy asks the public not to "harass" Grace Lee’s mother

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that on Thursday, February 16, President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III attended a forum at the La Consolacion College in Manila for the 26th anniversary celebration of the EDSA People Power Revolution.

However, when a student asked him about TV host Grace Lee, it prompted Aquino to address the problem that Lee’s mother now has to deal with. He pointed out that "Lee’s mother had to pretend to be a customer in her own grocery store to avoid being stalked or interviewed." He said that Lee’s mother shouldn’t be dragged into the issue.

ABS-CBNNews.com quoted Aquino, who said, "Eh naha-harass ’yung tao eh. Wala naman hong matutuwa kung may gagawa sa atin noon. Kawawa naman ’yung mga taong nadadamay at nagugulo ang buhay nila (She’s getting harassed. I don’t think anyone will be happy if they experience that. It’s really pretty stressful for people when their lives are disrupted),"
