ABS-CBNNews.com reports that boxing coach Freddie Roach has admitted that he’s been "concerned about Manny Pacquiao's recent statement about his faith." Roach pointed out that "conflicting ideas about fighting and Christianity" could affect his performance in his June 9 fight against Timothy Bradley.

According to the report, Roach said he’ll know if Pacquiao has lost his killer instinct. He quipped: "We’ll get ready for the fight. If it’s not there, it’s not there, and I’ll probably tell him to retire."

However, Roach also said that religion would do Pacquiao some good. He hoped that his renewed faith would also help Pacquiao "pick some better friends."
