ABS-CBNNews.com reports that members of a group called U.S. Pinoys for Good Governance have launched an online petition seeking to oust Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago from her seat as a judge of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague, Netherlands. The group members said they "plan to mail the petition [this week] to their contacts in Hague, who will  personally deliver it to the ICC."

The report quoted the group members, who said they were "bothered by Santiago’s behavior on the 26th day of Chief Justice Renato Corona’s impeachment trial." The group’s president, Rodel Rodis, pointed out: "She does not realize what she is saying, how hurtful it is, how completely arrogant it is, how she believes she can get away with it, how she can say things with total impunity. How can we allow her to be a judge in the ICC with her mentality, with her absolute sense of no justice?"

In a formal statement, the grop also tagged Santiago as "psychologically unstable," "lacking in patience and empathy," and ruthless with the feelings of fellow human beings."
