Malacañang beat reporter from The Daily Tribune shot in Pasig, now in ICU

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that 41-year-old Fernan Jose Angeles, a Palace beat reporter from the The Daily Tribune, was beaten and then shot along Evangelista Street in Barangay Pinagbuhatan at around 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 11.

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that 41-year-old Fernan Jose Angeles, a Palace beat reporter from the The Daily Tribune, was beaten and then shot along Evangelista Street in Barangay Pinagbuhatan at around 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 11. The information was revealed by Pasig City Police chief Senior Superintendent Jesse Cardona.

 

According to Angeles’ wife, he had only gone out to buy prepaid cellphone load. Angeles, who sustained six gunshot wounds, and is now at the intensive care unit of the Pasig City General Hospital.
