Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie officially engaged, confirms Pitt’s manager

U.S. entertainment news site TMZ reports that actor Brad Pitt’s manager Cynthia Pett-Dante has released a statement confirming that Pitt is now "officially engaged" to actress Angelina Jolie. Pitt and Jolie, who have been together for seven years, have six children (three adopted and three biological).

Pitt’s manager emphasized though that there is no wedding date yet and that "as of now, the engagement is simply a ’promise for the future.’"
