Manny Pacquiao officially joins Vice President Jejomar Binay’s PDP-Laban

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that boxer and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao formally joined Vice-President Jejomar Binay’s camp, the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), on Monday night (April 16) at Makati Shangri-La.

Manny Pacquiao formally joined Vice-President Jejomar Binay’s camp, the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), on Monday night (April 16) at Makati Shangri-La. The report noted that PDP-Laban has "joined forces with former President Joseph Estrada’s Partido ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) for the 2013 mid-term elections."

 

The report also quoted Senator Koko Pimentel, PDP-Laban president, who led the oath-taking ceremony. "We took in Pacquiao not because he can make us win but because he believes in the tenets of the party," he said.
