Forbes magazine recently came out with its "Fictional 15" list, which features the richest characters from books, movies, cartoons, and TV shows. The following characters made it to the list, (their perceived net worth is also listed):

 

  1. Smaug from the J.R.R. Tolkien novel The Hobbit - $62 billion
  2. Flintheart Glomgold from ­Disney's Uncle Scrooge comic books and cartoons - $51.9 billion
  3. Carlisle Cullen from Stephenie Meyer's Twilight novels and films - $36.3 billion
  4. Jed Clampett from The Beverly Hillbillies television ­series and films - $9.8 billion
  5. Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man from the Iron Man comics and films - $9.3 billion
  6. Richie Rich from the Richie Rich comic books and films - $8.9 billion
  7. Charles Foster Kane from the Orson Welles film Citizen Kane - $8.3 billion
  8. Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman from the Batman comics and films - $6.9 billion
  9. Forrest Gump from the Robert Zemeckis film Forrest Gump - $5.9 billion
  10. Mr. Monopoly from the the Hasbro board game Monopoly -$2.5 billion
  11. Lisbeth Salander from Stieg Larsson's novels - $2.4 billion
