Makati Shangri-La welcomes Singaporean Celebrity Chef Sam Leong

(SPOT.ph) Makati Shangri-La, Manila is bringing back Singapore's master celebrity chef, Sam Leong, for the second year in a row to create a masterpiece dinner featuring his original dishes on May 24 and 25 at Shang Palace. He will also share his recipes and techniques in a cooking demo class followed by a set lunch to be held at Shang Palace on both dates.
Guests can indulge in a seven-course degustation dinner paired with fine wine at P3,000 net per person in the main dining area and P3,600 net per person in the private dining room at Shang Palace. Chef Sam will reveal his secrets in an exclusive cooking class on June 3 at 11 a.m. that includes a lunch set menu. Guests may also choose to hold an exclusive event in one of Makati Shangri-La's function rooms on May 26, with Chef Sam personally creating the menu.
Chef Sam's 26 years of culinary genius have made him Singapore's most celebrated chef, with an array of cooking shows and a number of published books. He has represented Singapore in some of the world's most prestigious culinary events for over a decade, consistently named "Chef of the Year" and receiving various awards for excellence. He was once acclaimed the youngest head chef in Thailand and Singapore when he was stationed in these countries at the young age of 24.
