Package with grenade left outside Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales’ house
Inquirer.net reports that on Wednesday, May 30, "a live M-26 hand grenade, which was placed inside a small canister, was left at the back perimeter fence near the gate of Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales’ residence at Carpio Compound, Soldiers’ Hills Village, Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City."
Inquirer.net reports that on Wednesday, May 30, "a live M-26 hand grenade, which was placed inside a small canister, was left at the back perimeter fence near the gate of Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales’ residence at Carpio Compound, Soldiers’ Hills Village, Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City." The report noted that the package also had a handwritten note with the handwritten message: "Pang densa [sic] kay CCM - nagmamalasakit." (The word, "densa," is probably misspelled and is probably supposed to be "depensa.") Police have yet to identify who left the canister.

A Philstar.com report reveals that "R explosive was contained around 5:30 p.m."
