Pancake House group plans to put up 300 stores overseas in 5 to 7 years

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Pancake House chairman Martin Lorenzo said "the group is accelerating growth with plans to ramp up its presence in the Middle East and enter new markets like Indonesia and China."

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Pancake House chairman Martin Lorenzo said "the group is accelerating growth with plans to ramp up its presence in the Middle East and enter new markets like Indonesia and China." The report quoted Lorenzo, who said, "We want to expand presence throughout Southeast Asia. Our goal is to have a total of 300 branches overseas in five or seven years."

 

The report noted that aside from its flagship restaurant, the Pancake House group also owns the operates Yellow Cab, Teriyaki Boy, Dencio's, Sizzlin' Pepper Steak, Le Coeur de France, Kabisera, and Chicken Rice in the Philippines.

 

 

The report pointed out that thje group initiall plans "to build five Yellow Cab pizza stores a year in the Gulf States, which include Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates." They also want to bring Pancake House to the Middle East. According to the report, the Pancake House group "is looking to end the year with a total of 300 stores in the Philippines (100 Yellow Cab, 100 Pancake House and the rest divided among its other restaurant brands)."
