3 PH schools among Top 50 in World University Rankings in English language and literature

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that "based on the study made by London-based Quacquarelli Symonds, Ateneo de Manila is ranked No. 24 in the World University Rankings by Subject 2012 (Arts and Humanities - English Language and Literature)."

Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines is at No. 32 and De La Salle University is at No. 44. According to the report, Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford, Yale, and University of California Berkeley were the Top 5.

The report noted, though, that Ateneo "beat even other universities in English-speaking nations such as the University of Melbourne, University of Texas at Austin, University of York, University of Sydney, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, New York University, Brown University, and University of California (Irvine)."
