PH’s Lolong officially declared as "world’s largest crocodile" by Guinness World Records

Agence France-Presse (AFP), via InterAksyon.com, reports that Lolong, "the 6.17-meter (20.24-foot) male saltwater crocodile captured in the Agusan marsh last September 2011" has been officially declared by Guinness World Records as the "largest crocodile in captivity."

 

Agence France-Presse (AFP), via InterAksyon.com, reports that Lolong, "the 6.17-meter (20.24-foot) male saltwater crocodile captured in the Agusan marsh last September 2011" has been officially declared by Guinness World Records as the "largest crocodile in captivity." The report added that Lolong weighs approximately 1,075 kilograms (2,370 pounds).
