ABS-CBNNews.com reports that on Thursday, July 19, Atty. Adel Tamano bid goodbye to his ANC show, Tamano Perspective. The report noted that the lawyer had anchored the talk show, which was broadcast on Thursday nights, for over a year. The report also quoted Tamano, who said in his farewell spiel: "I’ve had the great privilege of coming into your homes to give you my view, opinionated as it is, on issues close to my-and hopefully your-hearts like the RH Bill, freedom of expression, accountability of our public officers, the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the value of interfaith dialogue."
The report pointed out: "While he is sad to leave the world of media, Tamano said he is also looking forward to venturing into a new career path." Tamano, as documented in the ABS-CBNNews.com article, is the first Filipino Muslim to graduate from Harvard Law School, and is also the first Filipino Muslim to host his own TV show.
