U.S. Embassy compound gets flooded, Roxas Boulevard closed due to flooding

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the United States Embassy on Roxas Boulevard, Manila got flooded on Wednesday morning, August 1, "due to strong waves from the Manila Bay." The report revealed that "work has been suspended in the embassy as operations were disrupted by the flooding."

The report then revealed that "both lanes of Roxas Boulevard from T.M. Kalaw Avenue until Quirino Avenue have been closed due to floods." The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has assigned personnel to warn motorists about the floods and suggest alternative routes.
